Terra Spring 2017

Terra Botanica opens its doors to you on April 1st and 2nd , one week before the official opening of the park, for the event : " Les Printemps de Terra ".

This popular event, open to all, brings together enthusiasts, professionals, individuals and amateurs to promote the plant sector.

Entirely dedicated to plants, "Les Printemps de Terra" brings together different areas such as a large plant market, craft villages, a section dedicated to the rose in the Business Centre, the renewal of the " I adopt a plant! "and a garden sale, not forgetting the presence of the Capucins association and their Université populaire du goût.

The different poles :

A large plant market and a Craft Village

All the actors of the plant field are invited, professionals as well as associations to highlight the regional plant sector. It will allow everyone to admire the numerous specimens offered by the producers present during these two days. Buying, selling and advising, that's what the plant market is for!

Villages of Plant Artisans

The craftsmen will be present to highlight the many facets of plants. Whether it's through jewellery, vegetable oils, zen workshops, wrought iron stakes, wood carving and many other objects, the craftsmen of the plant world will have something to amaze you!

The Rose in the spotlight

For this second edition, the Rose is in the spotlight. Sales of roses and related items, advice, exhibitions and conferences will be there for your pleasure. The rose growers of Doué La Fontaine will be there to present their productions. Following last year's exhibition of the Senate Orchid Collection, this year there will be an exclusive exhibition of old rose specimens dating from the 19th century. 

Passionate? Are you a fan? Or simply curious? The Rose is waiting for you in the Terra Botanica Business Center !

Operation "I adopt a plant! »

This year, this superb operation will be repeated. "What to do with abandoned plants? Come to drop them off during " Les Printemps de Terra ". They will find a new home, why not a second life at Terra Botanica or elsewhere. A space will be dedicated to to the deposit and and recovery of these plants.

Garden Sale - Sunday 02 only, 10:00 to 18:00 depending on reservations

This special garden sale allows all those who wish to do so, to take a few linear metres to sell anything exclusively related to the garden. 

The Université Populaire du Goût by the Hauts de Saint Aubin neighbourhood centre

A group of residents of the Hauts de Saint Aubin district, the Association des Capucins, is proposing a second edition of a Université Populaire du Goût on the theme of a garden in the city. We will see what place we can give to plants in a city district by looking at the various experiments carried out elsewhere.
