The park is getting ready for 3 April

In a few weeks, Terra Botanica will open its doors for a 12th season, which will be full of novelties. The teams are in tune and are preparing the park for spring. The mysteries of the forest, the vegetable garden, the greenhouses.... Terra Botanica is getting a new look and will be ready to welcome you from the 3rd of April.

The park is getting a new look for 2021. A 5th universe, The Mysteries of the Forest will emerge from the ground and reveal its secrets from 3 April. A real playful forest of 1500 m2 including high ropes coursesto the treetops and a pedagogical circuit on the groundThe new space will offer a breathtaking view of the city. This new space will offer a breathtaking view of the low valleys of Angersclassified as Natura 2000.

This season will also see a larger and brighter Butterfly House. The aim is to encourage our butterflies to flourish and reproduce even more. The architecture of the greenhouse will also be redesigned and will accommodate more than 50 new species of botanical plants. This year, the butterfly house will once again be one of the most important places in the park.

The Potager sets the table

The vegetables from our garden will be served at your table. Visitors will discover a new visual aesthetic in 2021. Vegetables and tables will mix to create new settings. The vegetable garden will also grow in height and present its climbing plants at the very entrance of this unique place. In addition, a tunnel forbidden to parents will allow children to come face to face with our seasonal vegetables. New varieties will be introduced, such as squash and tomatoes, and new peppers will be presented in the heart of our vegetable garden.

The Mysteries of the Forest, the Butterfly House and the Vegetable Garden will be the main new features of this season. For its part, "The Roots of Life will be filled with new species. The surroundings of the Colporteur de Rêves will be decorated with new ferns and new animal species will join the Terra Botanica family. Finally, a new event space will be built in place of the Dahlia area. The adventure begins on 3 April.
