Lecture: Soil life - the proof in the pudding, by Franz Bender

On Wednesday March 13, attend the first conference of the year, organized in partnership with SESA (Société d'Études Scientifiques de l'Anjou), at the park's Centre d'Affaires. Soil life: the proof in the pudding, by Franz Bender.

The Swiss scientist (Agroscope research station) will demonstrate the importance of soils for our civilization, our food and ecosystems in general.
It will also present just how threatened they are. He will draw on the Swiss scientific study "The proof is in the pudding" 🩲

The project - Proof with underwear

As part of the study, the researchers examined how quickly the briefs decomposed in the soil. They discovered an enormous diversity of organisms living beneath the earth's surface, with over 18,900 different species of bacteria and 6,500 fungi.
