Made in Angers 2016

Made in Angers' visits have resumed for the new year 2016.

Like last year, the park Terra Botanica opens its doors with a lot of surprises. The backstage of the park is exceptionally wide open with a panoramic visit of the backstage normally not accessible to the public.

For a few hours, accompanied by a park guide, you can discover the projects and major works in progress, explore the maintenance greenhouses and the storage conditions for exceptional plants, understand how the attractions work by visiting the backstage area, discover the infrastructures linked to the park's operation, etc.

This visit is also an opportunity to learn about the many jobs in the park and in particular those related to plants:

• What is a typical day for a landscape gardener in Europe's largest botanical park?
• How are large-scale landscape projects carried out?
• What are the skills and qualifications required for these jobs etc.?

The Terra Botanica behind-the-scenes guided tour is available all year round (including off-season when the park is closed) for groups of 20 people or more, but also for school classes.
