The full programme

Friday 17 May at 4.30 pm: Conference "What are the benefits of plants in the city for our well-being and health? »

In recent decades, the significant increase in the world's population, the concentration and densification of the urban population and the acceleration of the pace of life have distanced man from nature. A new generation's awareness invites us to reconnect with nature by introducing more nature and vegetation in our cities. Although it is internationally recognised that plants are beneficial to physical and mental health, scientific research is currently underway to explain how. After a presentation of the different beneficial effects of plants on well-being and health, we will present how you can participate in the research in your city, in Angers.

Speakers: Galopin Gilles (Research teacher at Agrocampus Ouest) with the participation of Bastien Vajou (from Plante et Cité), Nathan Beziau and Benoit Raimbault from Agrocampus Ouest

Location : In the spice greenhouse of Comptoirs du monde
