JOB DESCRIPTION

Starting in September 2026, Terra Botanica is seeking one work-study student to serve as an Audiovisual Technician and assist the Technical Team with the operation, installation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment that helps bring an immersive experience to life for our visitors every day.

As part of the Technical Team, you will help maintain the audiovisual infrastructure and provide support for building maintenance and the smooth operation of attractions throughout the park.

In this role, you will be responsible for, among other things:

• The technical operation and maintenance of Terra Nocta, the park’s immersive nighttime experience,
• Management of audiovisual equipment during events organized by the Business Center,
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of audiovisual equipment (screens, projectors, sound systems, mixing consoles, control rooms, lighting equipment, etc.),
• The installation, wiring, configuration, and commissioning of audio, video, and lighting systems for attractions, shows, and events,
• Daily operations involving the startup, monitoring, and shutdown of facilities to ensure their proper functioning,
• Providing support to the facility's maintenance teams for various first-level technical tasks (electrical work, painting, locksmithing, plumbing, or minor repairs).

DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT PROFILE?

You are pursuing a two-year degree in audiovisual studies and are looking for a work-study program that will allow you to gain practical and versatile experience.

You are curious and passionate about audiovisual technology, and you want to learn and develop your skills in a challenging yet supportive professional environment.

Some basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and show control systems (projectors, amplifiers, mixing consoles, etc.) would be a plus.

You have experience with cabling, configuration, and networking (IP, DMX, audio).

You are rigorous, dynamic, and organized, and have strong skills in managing unexpected events.

Finally, as someone with strong interpersonal skills, you enjoy interacting with the public and are committed to helping ensure a high-quality experience for visitors.

TERMS & ORGANIZATION?

Pay is set at the minimum wage (according to the legal pay scale for work-study programs).

The site is easily accessible by tram and bus, and the company covers 50% of the cost of public transportation. A sustainable mobility allowance is also available (to help cover the cost of commuting between home and work using alternative, eco-friendly modes of transportation, such as bicycles and scooters).

Given the park’s schedule, this position may require working on weekends and holidays, depending on the park’s operating hours and seasonal highlights.
