Work-Study Reservation and Business Development Specialist (M/F)

As Europe’s first theme park dedicated to plants, Terra Botanica welcomes thousands of visitors each year to its unique setting in Angers. At our Business Center, we assist companies, organizations, and institutions in organizing their seminars, meetings, and professional events.
The Terra Botanica Business Center is looking for its future work-study Sales Assistant to start as soon as possible.
What would be your main responsibilities?
Working alongside the Business Center Manager, you will help market our event spaces and assist our business clients visiting the site.
You will work in collaboration with various departments within the park, as well as with external service providers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Customer Relations and Reservation Management
- Greet and assist customers by phone, email, or in person.
- Identify needs and advise clients on selecting the appropriate services.
- Prepare sales proposals and quotes.
- Participate in the negotiation and finalization of cases.
- Handle the administrative follow-up for reservations.
- Update the customer database and enter data into the sales tracking tools (CRM).
Event Coordination and Management
- Assist with the logistical planning of events (seminars, meetings, conventions, team-building activities, corporate parties, etc.).
- Ensure coordination with the various internal departments.
- Help ensure that events held at the Business Center run smoothly.
- Provide customer service on the day of their event.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and gather customer feedback.
Business Development
- Participate in sales prospecting activities.
- Identify new contacts and opportunities to expand the client portfolio.
- Help carry out communication campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Help promote the Business Center's offerings.
- Take the initiative to develop new services or improve the customer experience.
Do you have the right profile?
You are preparing for a two- or three-year post-secondary program in business, sales and customer relations, event management, business development, or marketing.
You are proficient in office and digital tools and have strong writing skills.
You are organized, responsive, and a good listener; you enjoy working as part of a team and have strong interpersonal skills.
Finally, your passion for business and negotiation, along with your proactive approach, drive you to fully engage in projects, propose ideas, and actively contribute to the growth of the business.
Terms & Conditions & Organization?
Pay is set at the minimum wage (according to the legal pay scale for work-study programs).
The site is easily accessible by tram and bus, and the company covers 50% of the cost of public transportation. A sustainable mobility allowance is also available (to help cover the cost of commuting between home and work using alternative, eco-friendly modes of transportation, such as bicycles and scooters).
To encourage active involvement in managing client accounts and organizing events, the ideal work-study schedule is 2 days at school and 3 days at the company each week.
Given the park’s schedule, this position may require working on weekends and holidays, depending on the park’s operating hours and seasonal highlights.
